Product Description:
This connecting rod for Detroit Diesel 149 Series engines is a used part guaranteed to be rebuildable to OEM specifications. This part is a used core and needs to be rebuilt and/or machined before it can be used in an engine. If you have never rebuilt a core, then this is not the part you are looking for; you would need a new or remanufactured part instead. Core return not required.
Guarantee for cores: We guarantee that our cores are rebuildable. If you receive a core that cannot be rebuilt, let us know and we will either replace it or refund your purchase.
If you purchase fewer than 15 connecting rod cores, you may receive multiple UPS or FedEx packages. For orders of 15 rod cores or more we will ship using motor freight.

Warranty Information:
Only the items that have a warranty statement posted in the item description can be eligible for a warranty claim. The warranty period begins with the date of purchase. If a part was installed, went into service and then failed, it may be eligible for warranty repair. You must contact us via email within 14 days of the failure. Parts that are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty may be returned for repair. Refunds are not issued for warranty items. Allow 3 to 8 weeks for us to have the part repaired and return it to you.
This warranty does not cover repairs due to accidents, misuse, storage damage, negligence, misapplication, modifications exceeding the manufacturer’s specifications. Labor costs of removing or reinstalling the part are not covered. Economic loss of any type is not covered. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges incurred. No other responsibilities or warranties are expressed or implied.
